申命记 第二十三章|Book of Deuteronomy 23【做个讨神喜悦的人】

一个懂得在整个环境看起来都对自己不利的时刻，依然选择敬畏神的人，必定会在困难中找到出路，得到生命的翻转。
1.不可入圣会的人（V1-6）
经文一开始就说到几种人不可加入耶和华的会（圣会）。对今天来说就是不可进到教会来。
a.生殖器受损（V1）
首先是外肾受伤的，或被阉割的人不可以入圣会。即是身体有缺陷，生殖器官损的人。
b.淫乱的后代（V2）
神设立的婚姻是神圣的。私生子就是淫乱生下的孩子。私生子和他的后代永远都不能进入圣会。
c.恶待神百姓（V3-6）
亚扪人和摩押人在以色列百姓出埃及时，不但没有帮助他们，还故意抵挡神，请巴兰来咒诅神的子民，所以神也不接受他们进入圣会。
2.可以入圣会的人（V7-8）
神吩咐以色列子民不可憎恶以东人和埃及人。以东人是以扫的后代，和以色列人有血缘关系。法老在天下闹饥荒时，曾经允许雅各父亲携带家眷移居埃及。所以以东和埃及人的第3代子孙可以进入圣会。
那些不能入圣会的人的问题不一定是自愿、自找的。有些是被上一代的错误所造成的受害者。就这样不允许他们进入圣会，不是很不公平吗？
首先，当我们看旧约的律法规条时，有必要明白律法的精意，背后的目的。这些律法规条的设立，是为了让神的子民清楚知道什么是神的圣洁和公义的标准。并阻止他们有样学样的随从异教风俗，被引诱去拜偶像，玷污自己。此外，其实神还是公平公义的。路得是摩押人，但却成了大卫的曾祖母，名字还被记录在圣经里。大卫的勇士中也有亚扪人。他们之所以被神接纳，重点是因为他们敬畏依靠神和善待神的子民。
今天来到新约，因为耶稣基督已经代替众人满足了神圣洁和公义的标准。因此不但私生子、生殖器官损的人可以进到教会，无论是自己的败坏所犯的罪，或是上一代、祖宗带来的咒诅，甚至所有罪人都可以回到神的家。所以我们要更积极的去邀请人进到耶和华的会里。（福音103，5晚布道会）
二、生活对齐神（V9-25）
1.持守圣洁（V9-14）
梦遗的发生，主要源于平时思想上的不洁，造成肉体的反应。所以，要对付心思意念上、还有身体的污秽。若要在每场争战中得胜，必须持守我们这圣灵的殿是圣洁，不失去神的同在。
2.保护弱势（V15-16）
这里是指因受到主人的残酷虐待，为保命而冒险逃脱的奴仆。神子民有责任要保护弱势群体。若有不公不义的事发生，我们不可以坐视不理。若是与刑事或生死有关的，我们要交与警方处理。若不是，环境许可，我们可以以基督的爱帮助双方建立互相信任和彻底被修复的关系。
3.憎恶的祭（V17）
神禁止子民从事卖淫的行业。也不悦纳卖淫赚来的或任何不合法手段得来所献上的钱，因为这是不圣洁的。
4.不可贪婪（V19-20，24-25）
在这之前以色列百姓已经知道借钱给弟兄不可以算利息。可是为什么还要不断的再提？应该是有人还是向弟兄取利。V24-25 也提醒百姓，进葡萄园随意吃饱了就好，不可‘打包’。用手摘穗子吃了还用镰刀割取禾稼，就成了抢夺。这就是人心的贪。
作为神儿女，我们不但要与主内弟兄姐妹彼此相爱。更是不可贪心，滥用肢体的爱心和慷慨，占他人便宜。
5.守住承诺（V22-23）
这里提醒百姓向神许过的愿要偿还。因为神是信实的神。我们从祂如何对以色列百姓，持守着几千年前对亚伯拉罕所立的约就知道。所以作为祂的儿女，我们也要成为一个信守承诺的人。一旦答应了就要谨守遵行，做个有信用的人。这样别人遇到困难或问题时，很常会来咨询我们的意见，因觉得我们信得过。我们就有机会向他们传福音。
总结：你是个讨神喜悦的人吗？
神儿女的一生最重要的就是活出讨神喜悦的生命来荣耀神。求神帮助我们就算整个大环境都对我们不利，我们依然选择敬畏神、依靠祂。在每天的生活中不断的对齐神活出真理，做个讨神喜悦的人。

I. Choose to fear God (V1-8)
A person who understands that even at difficult times, he still chooses to fear God, will surely find a way out and turn his life around.
1. Those who cannot enter the assembly of the Lord (V1-6)
The scriptures begin by saying that there are several kinds of people who cannot enter the assembly of the Lord. In today’s context, it means not being allowed to enter the church.
a. Genital damage (V1)
The first is that those who have injured their outer kidneys or who have been castrated cannot enter the congregation. That is people with physical defects and damaged reproductive organs.
b. The offspring of adultery (V2)
God's ordained marriage is sacred. An illegitimate child is a child born of fornication. The illegitimate son and his descendants can never enter the assembly of the Lord.
c. Treating God’s people badly (V3-6)
When the Ammonites and Moabites came out of Egypt, not only did they fail to help the Israelites, but they also deliberately resisted God and asked Balaam to curse the people of God, so God did not accept them into the assembly of the Lord.
2. Those who can enter the assembly of the Lord (V7-8)
God commanded the children of Israel not to hate the Edomites and the Egyptians. The Edomites were descendants of Esau and were related to the Israelites by blood. Pharaoh once allowed Jacob's father to bring his family to Egypt when there was a global famine. So, the 3rd generation of Edom and the Egyptians can enter the assembly of the Lord.
The problems of those who cannot enter the assembly of the Lord are not necessarily self-inflicted. Some are victims of the mistakes of the previous generation. Wouldn't it be unfair to just deny them access to the assembly of the Lord?
First, when we look at the laws and regulations of the Old Testament, it is necessary to understand the spirit of the laws and the purpose behind them. These laws and statutes were established so that God's people would know exactly what God's standard of holiness and righteousness was. And to prevent them from following pagan customs in the same way and being tempted to worship idols and defile themselves. Furthermore, God is fair and just. Ruth was a Moabite but became David's great-grandmother, whose name is still recorded in the Bible. Among David's warriors were Ammonites. The main reason why they are accepted by God is that they fear and rely on God and treat God's people kindly.
Today comes to the new covenant because Jesus Christ has fulfilled God's standard of holiness and righteousness on behalf of all. Therefore, not only illegitimate children and those with damaged reproductive organs can enter the church, and no matter whether it is the sins committed by their own corruption or the curses brought by the previous generation or ancestors, all sinners can return to the family of God. Therefore, we must be more active in inviting people to the assembly of Jehovah. (Gospel 103, 5 nights of evangelism)
II. Life is aligned with God (V9-25)
1. Hold on to holiness (V9-14)
The occurrence of wet dreams is mainly due to the uncleanness of the mind at normal times, resulting in the reaction of the body. Therefore, we must deal with the defilement of our minds and body. To be victorious in every battle, we must keep our temple of the Holy Spirit holy and not to lose the presence of God.
2. Protect the vulnerable (V15-16)
This refers to slaves who risked their lives to escape due to cruel abuse by their masters. God's people have a responsibility to protect the vulnerable. If something injustice happens, we can't just sit back and ignore it. If it is related to crime or life and death, we must hand it over to the police. Otherwise, if circumstances permit, we can use the love of Christ to help both parties to build a relationship of mutual trust and complete restoration.
3. The sacrifice of abomination (V17)
God forbids his people to engage in prostitution. Nor does it accept the money offered by prostitution or by any illegal means, because it is unholy.
4. Do not be greedy (V19-20, 24-25)
Before this, the Israelites knew that lending money to a brother could not charge interest. But why keep mentioning it? It must be someone who is still taking advantage of their brother. V24-25 also reminded the people when they are in the vineyard, they can eat as much as they want, but do not "take away". After handpicking the fruit and eating it, and still using a sickle to cut it is considered robbery. This is the greed of the human heart.
As children of God, we are not only to love each other with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Also, do not be greedy, abuse the love and generosity of your members, and take advantage of others.
5. Keep your promises (v22-23)
This reminds the people that the promises they made to God must be fulfilled. Because God is a faithful God. We know from how He kept to the people of Israel the covenant He made with Abraham thousands of years ago. So as His children, we too must be a promis keeper. Once you promise, you must abide by it carefully and be a person with credit. In this way, when others encounter difficulties or problems, they will often come to us for advice, because they think we can be trusted. Thus, we can preach the gospel to them.
Conclusion: Are you a person who pleases God?
The most important thing in the life of a child of God is to live a life that pleases God to glorify God. Ask God to help us, even if the whole environment is against us, we still choose to fear God and rely on Him. In our daily life, we should constantly align with God and live out the truth and be a person who pleases God.
