【神的节期—人生加油站】

引言：各族群都看中过年过节！

V16 你一切的男丁要在除酵节、七七节、住棚节，一年三次，在耶和华你神所选择的地方朝见他，却不可空手朝见。
因此，神也要让守祂所规定的节期。对基督徒而言，这节期的意义甚至比旧约还更有意义！

一、得救见证逾越节（V1-8）

第一个逾越节，神带领祂的子民脱离为奴的埃及，得享释放的自由。就像基督拯救我们脱离黑暗，进入光明。
在立神名字的地方记念这节，如同现今我们在基督的教会庆祝逾越节一样。
这是生命蒙福的第一步，得蒙赦罪，脱离捆绑，得享自由。这是我们人生的第一个见证。

二、福音认领收割节（V9-12）

收割节既是七七节，也就是五旬节。是当年颁布律法的日子，也是后来圣灵降临的时日。
在记念节期的过程少不了感恩奉献；而且是献在立祂的名的所在，既是教会。好让自己和家人都可以在神面前欢乐。
五旬节更是让我们想到传福音、行神迹、得人如鱼，收割灵魂；权能服事的见证。

三、合城欢庆住棚节（V13-16）

我们过去都在守住棚节，但是今天的经文内容让我们看到守节的时候，不要忘记要邀请的人（V14）：
1.你和你儿女：就是全家人都来。
2.仆婢：你的帮佣、工人都可以邀请来。
3.城里的利未人：这就如同是各教会的圣职人员。
4.寄居者：特别是指外劳（至少是你的接触范围可及的外地工人）
5.孤儿寡妇：不幸的弱势群体。
在神所拣选的地方庆祝，在教会欢庆神的住棚节。

神若许可，明年住棚节的庆祝方式就是这样吧！

四、活出信仰行公义（V17-22）

作神公义的审判官，意思说我们要秉公行义，乐善好施（送礼物）。
各人追求至公至义，不屈枉正直。靠主真理大能行得正、作得稳。
为神筑坛并且带下荣耀。

总结：神的节期是我们生命的加油站

每年都透过节期反省自己的生命，重整自己的命定。更聚焦的迈向人生的命定。想到逾越节的羔羊，我们就重生而得力。想到五旬节的圣灵，我们就更新而得力。每逢住棚节，更是让我们向往永恒的归宿。这都是我们人生的加油站啊！

Introduction: All tribal groups look to the New Year's festivals!

V16 16 “Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord your God in the place which He chooses: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, at the Feast of Weeks, and at the Feast of Tabernacles; and they shall not appear before the Lord empty-handed.
Therefore, God will also allow the observance of the feasts He has set forth. For Christians, this feast is even more meaningful than the Old Testament!

1. The Passover of Salvation Testimony (V1-8)

At the first Passover, God led His people out of slavery in Egypt and into freedom. Just as Christ saved us from darkness into light.
This feast is remembered in the place where God's name is set, just as we celebrate the Passover in Christ's church today.
This is the first step in the blessedness of life, forgiveness of sins, freedom from bondage, and liberty. It is the first testimony of our life.

2. The gospel recognises the harvest festival (V9-12)

The Feast of the Harvest is both the Feast of the Seventh Day, or Pentecost. It is the day when the law was promulgated and the time when the Holy Spirit came later.
The process of remembering the feast is not without thanksgiving offering; and it is offered in the place where His name is established, which is the church. So that you and your family can rejoice before God.

Pentecost even reminds us of the testimony of evangelism, miracles, gaining people like fish, harvesting souls; and powerful ministry.

3. The city celebrates the Feast of Tabernacles (V13-16) We used to observe the Feast of Tabernacles, but the content of today's scripture shows us that when we observe the Feast, we should not forget those who are to be invited (V14):
1. You and your children: that is, the whole family.
2. Servants and maids: Your helpers and workers can be invited to come.
3. The Levites of the city: This is like the priesthood of the churches.
4. Strangers: especially foreign workers (at least those out-of-town workers who are within your reach)
5. Orphans and widows: the unfortunate and vulnerable. Celebrate in God's chosen place and rejoice in the Church for the Feast of Tabernacles of God.

If God allows, this is how the Feast of Tabernacles will be celebrated next year!

4. Live the faith to do righteousness (V17-22)

To be a righteous judge of God means that we are to do righteousness and be charitable (give gifts).
Each one pursues righteousness and justice, and does not condemn righteousness. To walk righteously and steadily in the power of the Lord's truth.
Build an altar for God and bring down glory.

Conclusion: God's feast days are the gas stations of our lives

Every year, we reflect on our lives through the feast and reorganise our destiny. It is a time to focus more on our destiny in life. Thinking of the Passover lamb, we are born again and strengthened. When we think of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, we are renewed and strengthened. Every Feast of Tabernacles makes us yearn for our eternal home. These are the gas stations of our lives!
