【根除敬拜别神的权势】

引言：

诗篇 16:4 以别神代替耶和华的，他们的愁苦必加增；他们所浇奠的血我不献上；我嘴唇也不提别神的名号。我们生命中所有敬拜的别神，都要连根拔出，否则它们会一直缠绕我们，得不到神所应许给我们的平安和喜乐。

一、小心引诱你敬拜别神的人（V1-11）

1.引诱你的外人（V1-5）

神的百姓面对引诱他们去敬拜别神的外人，务要用最大的努力去断绝这样的人对你所产生出来的影响力。

2.引诱你的亲友（V6-11）

神的百姓面对引诱他们去敬拜别神的亲友，哪怕跟他们有亲近的关系，也要用最大的努力去断绝这些跟你亲近的人对你所产生出来的影响。所以在旧约时代，就是当耶稣救赎的恩典还没来到的时候，律法甚至规定要把这样的人治死，去断绝那个引诱人敬拜别神的权势。

二、得地后根除拜别神的权势（V12-17a）

神的百姓当进入到神所应许的迦南美地后，要留心那里的外邦人一切来引诱我们敬拜别神的权势，并要尽最大的努力去把这样的权势完全灭尽。

三、总意就是爱神活出神心意（V17b）

要根除我们生命中一切敬拜别神的权势，总意就是要爱神，守神的一切律例典章。当我们如此行，神就必赐福我们的生命！

总结：

当我们懂得抓住最大的诫命，尽心尽性尽力尽意地爱神，我们就会尽最大的努力去断绝那些引诱我们去敬拜事奉别神的权势。并且当我们这样地来爱神，守神的诫命。我们就必会领受神所赐给我们的福分！

Introduction:

Psalm 16:4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who hasten after another god; Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer, Nor take up their names on my lips. All the other gods we worship in our lives need to be uprooted, otherwise they will continue to haunt us and deny us the peace and joy God has promised us.

1. Beware of those who tempt you to worship other gods

(1) The outsiders who tempt you （1-5）

When God's people are faced with outsiders who tempt them to worship other gods, they must use their best efforts to break the influence of such people on you.

(2) Your friends and relatives who tempt you (6-11)

When God's people are faced with the temptation to worship other gods, even if they are close to them, they shall use their best efforts to break the influence of those who are close to you. Therefore, in the Old Testament times, when the saving grace of Jesus had not yet come, the law even sentenced death penalty for such a person, to cut off the power that tempts people to worship other gods.

2. Eradicate the power of worshiping other gods after we have gained the land (12-17a)

When God's people enter the promised land of Canaan, they are to be aware of all the powers of the Gentiles there that tempt us to worship other gods, and to do their utmost to put an end to such powers.

3. The idea is to love God and live according to God’s will (17b)

To eradicate all the powers of worship of other gods in our lives, the idea is to love God and keep all His laws and regulations. When we do this, God will bless our lives!

Conclusion:

When we know how to take hold of the greatest commandment, and love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, we will do our best to cut off the powers that tempt us to worship and serve other gods. And when we love God in this way, and keep His commandments, then we will receive the blessings that God has given us!
