[祭司On Call 24]

耶稣是随时预备的祭司——祂没有放过任何一个渴慕的灵魂

1. 随时预备不停歇（V1-8）

耶稣在旅途中疲乏（V6），正午时分（V6），而门徒去城里买食物（V8），祂却选择留在井边。这不是偶然，而是刻意，就是为了等候一个灵魂。

2. 寻找渴慕神的人（V9-15）

妇人起初以为耶稣不过是一个犹太男人，却没想到祂要赐她“活水”（V10）。耶稣看到她内心的干渴，而不是外表的背景或身份。

3. 从心灵诚实行动（V16-30）

耶稣一句话就指出她五任丈夫的历史（V17-18），却不是羞辱，而是引导她悔改与真正敬拜。 她放下水罐子（V28）象征放下旧人生，急忙传扬好消息。

二、信心回应，带使命出动（约4:31–54）

1. 以遵行父为食物（V 31-42）

耶稣说：“我有食物吃，是你们不知道的。”（V32）祂不是说肉体不需要食物，而是指出灵命 的饥饿更深是满足神的旨意，远胜满足肉体的需要。

2. 信心超越人期待（V43-54）

耶稣医治大臣儿子的方式，并非按人的期待亲临，而是只用一句话：“回去吧，你的儿子活了。”（V50）那人信，就回去了，他和全家都信了。

总结：扛起“随时待命”的祭司身份！

今晚是逾越节的开始，我们不是一个人进救恩的门，而是要像大祭司一样，把众人的需要带到神面前。

耶稣说：“庄稼已经熟了。”（约4:35）灵魂已经预备好要回应福音，只等着有人去收割。

你准备好了吗？身为“祭司On Call 24”，你是否愿意随时为主出动？在你生命中，也许有很多名字、很多脸孔等待你——他们就是你要带到神面前的“名单”。

Priest On Call 24

Jesus is a priest who is always ready—He does not let go of any thirsty soul.

1. Always ready (V1-8)

Jesus was tired from the journey (V6), and at noon (V6), while his disciples went to the city to buy food (V8), He chose to stay by the well. This was not accidental, but deliberate, just to wait for a soul.

2. Seeking those who thirst for God (V9-15)

At first the woman thought Jesus was just a Jewish man, but she did not expect that He would give her "living water" (V10). Jesus saw her inner thirst, not her outward background or identity.

3. Act honestly from the heart (V16-30)

Jesus pointed out the history of her five husbands in one sentence (V17-18), but he did not humiliate her but led her to repent and truly worship. She put down her water jar (V28), which symbolized putting down her old life and hurriedly spreading the good news.

II. Responding with Faith and Going Out with Mission (John 4:31–54)

1. Taking obedience to the Father as food (V 31-42)

Jesus said, "I have food to eat that you do not know about." (V32) He did not mean that the flesh does not need food but pointed out that the hunger of the spiritual life is deeper to satisfy God's will, which is far superior to satisfying the needs of the flesh.

2. Faith surpasses human expectations (V43-54)

The way Jesus healed the nobleman’s son was not by going in person as people expected, but by just saying one sentence: “Go your way; your son lives.” (V50) The man believed and went back, and he and his whole family believed.

Conclusion: Take on the identity of a priest who is “on call at all times”!

Tonight is the beginning of Passover. We are not entering the door of salvation alone, but like the high priest, we should bring the needs of the people to God.

Jesus said, "The harvest is ripe." (John 4:35) The soul is ready to respond to the gospel, just waiting for someone to harvest it. Are you ready? As a "priest On Call 24", are you willing to go out for the Lord at any time? In your life, there may be many names and faces waiting for you - they are the "list" you need to bring to God.
