【以色列百姓争战的法则 】

一、争战的策略 （V1-4）

兵法信神都同在：态度，精神，确知，经验。

神要以色列民知道人争战得胜，并不是靠人多和马的强壮，战车多少。面对迦南敌人他们不要惧怕，他们要回想，领他们出埃及地的耶和华神与他们同在，并神怎样使法老的战车马兵推翻在深海里的经历。

二、征兵的条例（V5-9）

先恩典后真理与尚未完成的责任。 争战打仗最重要的是人。在争战中要看见是神自己在争战，就能胜过一切一切的恐惧和战兢。

三、占领的条例（V10-15）

策略与战役。

神子民的争战是跟着神的脚步前行的，神领他们去攻打一座城，就是神定规了要把那一座城交在他们手中，那城一定是会攻下的。

“要攻打的时候，先要对城里的居民宣告和睦的话。他们若以和睦的话回答你，给你开了城，城里所有的人都要给你効劳，服事你。”这样的宣告和睦是根据神的权柄，就是神要得着这个城，使这个城里的人活在神的律法管理之下。神要他们活着，不要他们死亡，这是神所施的恩典。

四、战后的重建（V16-20）

神除尽迦南地的恶民，为了要保护百姓，免得百姓学习他们一切可憎恶的事，就是他们向自己神所行的，以致百姓得罪耶和华神。总要警觉，对撒但和它差役的仁慈，就是对神和神子民的残忍，所以绝不能给它留地步，必须要和它彻底的分别，不留罪恶。

总结：

以色列民经历无数次靠神得胜的争战，神要他们知道祂掌管一切，不要因看到敌人的马匹、战车，人民比自己多就怕他们，因为领他们出埃及地的耶和华神与他们同在，他们就必然得胜。今天基督徒也应该学习在凡事上依靠神。

1. Strategies for conquest (V1-4)

The art of war believes that God with them: attitude, spirit, certainty, and experience.
God wanted the people of Israel to know that victory in battle does not depend on the number of men, the strength of horses, or the number of chariots. They were not to be afraid in the face of their Canaanite enemies, but they were to recall the presence of the Jehovah God, who led them out of the land of Egypt, and how God overthrew Pharaoh's chariots and horses in the deep sea.

2. Regulations for recruitment (V5-9)

Grace before truth and the unfinished responsibility.
The most important thing in war and battles is person.
In the battle to see that it is God Himself who is fighting, you will be able to overcome all fear and trembling.

3. Regulations of the occupy (V10-15)

Strategies and Battles.
The battle of God's people follows the footsteps of God. God led them to attack a city, that is, God ordained to give that city into their hands, and that city will certainly be taken.

"When you go near a city to fight against it, then proclaim an offer of peace to it. If they answer you with words of peace, and open the city to you, all the people of the city will give you service and serve you." This proclamation of harmony is based on God's authority, that God will gain the city, so that the people of the city will live under God's law. God wants them to live and not to die, and this is the grace of God.

4. The Reconstruction after the War (V16-20)

God removed the wicked people from the land of Canaan, in order to protect the people from learning all their abominations, which they had done to their own gods, so that the people might sin against the Jehovah God. Always be aware that mercy to Satan and his servants is cruelty to God and his people, so that no room is left for him, but completely separated from it, leaving no sin behind.

Conclusion:

The people of Israel experienced numerous battles won by relaying on God. God wanted them to know that He is in charge of everything, and not to be afraid of the enemy because they saw their horses and chariots, and that the people were more numerous than themselves, because the LORD God, who led them out of the land of Egypt, was with them, and they were sure to win. Christians today should also learn to rely on God in all things.
